六四獻花 June 4th Flower Dedication
沒有叫人聲嘶力竭的口號﹔
沒有大會的指定動作……
請來為十八年前無端斷送青春和性的人們，獻上我們最溫柔的悼念。
為紀念六四事件十八周年，我們僅呼籲各方友好，於六四當日前往位於尖沙咀文化中心外，已故法國藝術家凱撒作品《自由戰士》腳下，獻上一束白花，透過最簡單而意味深長的方式，向十八年前在天安門廣場上殉難的人們、和所有曾為自由而犧牲的人們，作出最衷心的致敬。
是項行動，亦是作為體現香港市民爭取於公共空間或領域，進行政治、情感、藝術、任何信息之自由表達的象徵。無論你是否相信這件位於我們的城市中心的公共藝術品，曾遭政治審查而被隱性埋名，都希望大家能來為我們城市的民間集體記憶加添更豐富的色彩，在各種官方的、從上而下的、單調的聲音中，加上我們自己的聲音。
如果大家當天有空，我們誠邀大家一起獻花。沒有獻詞、不用祈禱、更不用簽名或捐錢，只要記得帶同一束白色小花(大花都得)便可。如果不怕老土，亦請盡量著沉色衣服，和在襟上繫上白花，以致餘哀。
因為是沒有組織的緣故，只憑心意(也沒錢賣告白掛橫額)，很希望大家在收到這個電郵或訊息後能幫忙廣為流傳。不論人數多寡，當日天色如何，亦會照樣進行。

No instruction to follow…
Only, too many people lost their youth and their lives eighteen years ago.
To commemorate the 18th anniversary of the June 4 massacre, we ask that you join us to dedicate a bunch of white flowers to the Flying French outside the Cultural Centre. A simple and gentle gesture of mourning that speaks a thousand words: respect for those who gave up their lives for the fight of freedom.
This action symbolizes Hong Kong people’s struggle for political, emotional, artistic and other forms of expression in public space. It’s up to you whether to believe this piece of public art in the middle of our city has suffered from political censorship, and managed to survive only under an alias. It is also you, and all of us, too, who can enrich our collective memory, and interrupt the all too top-down and monolithic voices from the authorities.
If you have time, may I invite you to bring a small (or big) bunch of white flowers and come to our public space at 6pm on June 4th. And if you don’t mind, please wear something dark. There’s no script to read from, no prayer to say. No one will ask for your signature or donation.
This is not an organized action, but a gesture coming from the heart. Please help spread the word: see you there, be it sunshine or rain.
